Using 1 Euro Cents?

Hi,

So through my many travels i have acquired an awful lot of change and it's to the point of not being able to close my purse with all the coins, i have lots of 5, 2 and 1 cents.

Will the ticket machines for the RE7 train or U-Bahn ticket machines take them?

If not where can I get rid of them?
Please help.
